Donna Owens
Donna J. (Bartlett) Owens died June 7, 2017, in Troy, Mo. Born Oct. 26 1939, in St. Louis, she was a controller in the automobile industry in Las Vegas, where she mentored several young women as administrators in the industry.
She is survived by sons, Lance (Kimi Nagatoshi), Rick (Tammy) and Brian (Stacy), three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; brothers, Bill and Gary Bartlett.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations and cards, Donna requests that friends and family give a sincere and enthusiastic hug to someone special.
Mitsuyo Nakano
Mitsuyo Nakano, 100, of Hilo died April 4, 2017, in a private care home. Born June 19, 1916, in Hilo, she was a retired housekeeper at Naniloa Hotel and a member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Services were held. Family requests no koden and no flowers. Condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com.
She is survived by daughters, Sally (Michitoshi) Murakami of Kailua-Kona, and Sandra Yoshioka of Fresno, Calif.; son, Rodney (Loretta) Nakano of Hilo, HI; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Ted Redo
Ted Anthony Redo, 96, of Kailua-Kona died June 1, 2017, in Holualoa. Born Feb. 24, 1921, in Milwaukee, he was a retired engineering executive from General Motors and a World War II Navy veteran.

Lorraine Inay Ah Yo, 82, of Pahoa died June 5, 2017, at Hospice of Hilo’s Hospice of Hilo Facility. Born April 1, 1935, in Hilo, she was a retired custodian at Pahoa High School.

She is survived by son, William-Jon Ah Yo of Pahoa; daughters, Jann (Alex) Bolos of Pearl City, Oahu, Ramona (Tony) Estoy of Kailua-Kona and Jadelyn Kapowai of Pearl City, Oahu; hanai daughter, Cherylann (John) Apao of Louisiana; sisters, Hannah Gentry of San Diego, Marvis (James) Miyashiro of Pearl City, Oahu; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

Tracy Danser
Tracy “TD” Dale Danser, 77, of Kailua-Kona, died June 7, 2017, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Sept. 10, 1939, in Tunnelton, W.V., he was a retired machinist.
Private service will be held in West Virginia.
He is survived by daughter, Kara (Burdette) Conaway of West Virginia; son, Rocky (Jacqueline) Danser of Indiana; sisters, Barbara (John) Phillips, Laythia (Don) Keener, all of West Virginia, Norma (Gary) Eberson of Utah; brother, Paul (Rita) Danser of Ohio; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
